Manea is a Village located around 9 miles from the Town of March in Cambridgeshire.   Since 1956 there has been a community Group called the "Manea Gala", with various people from the community, who give their time to organise an Annual Gala in July each year. This has grown over the years to include a Santa Sleigh Run around the Village, and a Christmas Fayre, both held in early December each year. The Object of the fourteen Committee Members (2016-17), is to raise funds for the following year's Gala, and if any profit is made, donated back to selected recognised groups in Manea once a year.
